"Closer with the first one. The major difference between the spells I cast and her enchantments is that enchantments are permanent. For example, I could cast a spell to make my armor more resistant to damage, but it would only last a few hours - at the very most. Whereas she could enchant gauntlets that granted you unusual dexterity, and they'd never stop doing so."
He's enjoying being the one to explain this time, happy to show off his world and its- well, not wonders here, but certainly comforts.
"Deliveries for the Black Horse Courier," he explains of the horsemen. "The biggest printer of news pamphlets in the Empire. They'll be taking early copies of the next edition to Cheydinhal and Bruma, I'd guess. The next one to go out will have a copy of the Emperor's New Life address. We can't have anyone miss that, I suppose." He chuckles.
