Jim's heard that word before but only ever breathlessly ripped from Felix's throat. He doesn't have time to say so to Felix before Marcella is there and Jim quickly deposits that small piece of information somewhere for safe keeping while he watches Felix greet her.

He waits patiently for Felix to introduce him and offers a charming, if not slightly diplomatic, smile toward Felix's family.

"Jim is fine, Miss Avita. Thank you for allowing me into your home." He doesn't think this is the sort of woman he can win over with a kiss on the hand and a few nice words, so he gives a slight bow instead. "Vita Nova to you."
