He looks away up at the ceiling as Jim speaks, too tired to deal with the implication that Terentius knows too. But his eyes drop back to Jim at the revelation of how close both of them came to following his trail after him. A soft sound of denial escapes his throat even before Jim makes it clear he knows where that trail led.
