Date: 2017-01-09 11:10 pm (UTC)The only pity of being on a busy thoroughfare is that Jim needs to more or less behave lest they attract all the wrong sorts of attention for fooling around in public. He'd made sure his shifts would be covered. In a way he's glad Bones knows about Felix now, because it makes this sort of thing so much easier. And it's not as though he's shirking his work--Jim made sure to pick up as many extra shifts as he could physically take on to make sure as many of his crew as possible got to have their holiday time off.
"Does she...did you warn her I wasn't a woman? Am I to act as your friend or...?"
The mistrust of new people Jim understands. It took him many years to get over a similar thing for himself after...after the things he's been through. Jim tries to keep the mood light though, and turns to give a light kiss to Felix's neck.
"Should I get it out of my system now..?"
