Jim's spent the last year showing him how to navigate the devices and conventions of Earth, of a spacefaring realm. Spent a year opening up to Felix, sharing intimate secrets and spaces and time. The conjurer isn't at all used to doing anything similar, but he can make an effort in that direction.
