As he looks about, perhaps figuring out a route to safety, there's a low keening sound amongst the usual susurrus of this realm. Almost like frightened, despairing wailing...

But before long, Naugus is tugging Felix in a chosen direction. "Didn't you say the cowl could do something about the shadows? Do I have to usher us to safe harbour before we can use it? Or will applying it now return us to the dark mistress we're running errands for?"
