However unsure Terentius might be about what healing in Jim's world entails, he knows for certain that Jim wouldn't allow any more harm to come to his husband. He remembers the man who introduced himself as a doctor at the wedding, the friends Jim brought with him. They seemed trustworthy, too. So no matter how much the older man wishes he could run to his nephew himself, he placates his ragged nerves with that knowledge. Nods slowly.

"Whatever he was doing, Jim, it sounds like an injury caused by magic. I don't know much about those, and I bet your people won't either. I know they're good at their work, but- you should let Stratos see him, too. Hell. You might not be able to stop him once he finds out."

He pulls a rueful, lopsided smile. Reaches out to clasp the captain's arm. "But you got him back. He's damned lucky you went looking for him, you know. And at least... he's not back there."
